Hi Gang, We are back on the road again in South Bend, Indiana. That cold, crisp, Midwest air feels so good, (which is another way of saying that I am freezing my ass off); it totally reminds me of my childhood just up the road, in Chicago. It is so different around here than out in Los Angeles, and I'm not just talking about the weather. People in South Bend, as in Chicago, are already gearing up for St. Patrick's Day. I can almost taste the green beer, there are shamrocks hanging outside the shops and restaurants, I can sense the Blarney everywhere...I love it. We will be back in these parts for some shows again in two weeks, and I plan on spending St. Paddy's in Chicago with my Dad...it is his 83rd birthday, and he is bright and healthy as can be...Go Ted! So, did anyone catch the live webcast from the L.A. Avengers kick off party last night? How was it? I can tell you that Dave and I had a blast. And check this out...one of the bartenders was the actor from the Hallmark, Can't Fight This Feeling commercial. I am serious. His name is Sam, he is a great guy, and he pours a mean Chardonnay. I'll post the photos when they come in. So today, I am getting a cup of coffee in one of the LAX lounges, and a guy walks up and introduces himself as the editor for the TV show, "Don't Forget The Lyrics". Yep, you guessed it, that is the show I taped last month, which I was talking about in my last newsletter. He said our episode came out great, and that he will let me know as soon as they lock in an air date...it is tentatively scheduled for airing during the first week of April. We are firming up our plans for a return to Europe coming up in June, and are looking at some shows in Japan later in the year. "Find Your Own Way Home" sold through in Japan in the first few weeks, and they have ordered another shipment...how cool is that! We still totally believe in the power of those songs, and little by little the word is spreading around the world. I am going to start sending along cool photos as they come in. Here are a couple of fun shots. The first one is Benjie, from Good Charlotte, and me, at the Burbank airport. We sat on either side of my wife on a flight from Phoenix, and we playfully, (sort of, she really does hate to fly), attempted to calm Lisa down any time we hit the slightest turbulence. When the plane landed we finally figured out that both of us were in rock bands. He plays guitar, and his twin brother is the singer. I pray that my sons grow up to be as close as Benjie is with his brother. The other photo du jour is of John Travolta signing my daughter's Super Bowl cap. Holly is a huge fan of "Hairspray" and "Grease", so I was on a mission to get her an autograph. JT was totally cool, very down to earth and friendly... So, there you have it, now it's bedtime for Kev....see you down the road, KC
